Criteria:
This coveted award is to be presented to a postdoctoral pair, or individual postdoc, who are currently undertaking or have recently completed postdoctoral research in controlled release science and technology. Candidates may be from academia, government or industry. Membership in the Controlled Release Society is required.
Nomination Process:
Nominations must be in writing. Nominations may be submitted by a member of the Controlled Release Society.
Letters of nomination must include an abbreviated curriculum vitae, abstract of work (if available), examples of quality research papers, patents related to the work, and a list of publications on the subject. These required documents must be sent to Linda Schmitt no later than January 31, 2009.
Selection Process:
The CRS T. Nagai Postdoctoral Research Achievement Award Committee will be responsible for the selection of the award.

The awardee will receive:

- Award Winner to Give a Presentation at the 36th CRS Annual Meeting & Exposition
Notification:
Awardee will be notified no later than April 15, 2009.
CRS - Nagai Innovation Award 2008 Winner
Khaled Greish completed a M.D. degree at the Faculty of Medicine, Suez Canal University, Ismailia, Egypt, in 1992. In 1997, he obtained a M.S. degree in clinical oncology from Suez Canal University. In 2001, he received the Japanese Monbukagashow Scholarship to study for his Ph.D. degree with Prof. Hiroshi Maeda. Greish received a Ph.D. degree on targeted anticancer chemotherapy from the Graduate School of Medical Sciences, Kumamoto University, Japan, in March 2006. In April 2006 he began a JSPS post-doctoral fellowship.
