  • Ground-breaking research of outstanding quality
  • Presenting author must be a member of CRS


SELECTION PROCESS
The Oral Drug Delivery Award Committee will make the selection of the awardee.

AWARD
The recipient will receive:

  • $1,500 Award
  • Complimentary Annual Meeting and Exposition Registration
  • Plaque
  • Award Winner to Give a Presentation at the 37th CRS Annual Meeting & Exposition


NOTIFICATION
Awardees will be notified by April 30, 2010.

2010 CRS Outstanding Oral Drug Delivery Paper Award
David Scott WilsonScott Wilson is a graduate student in the School of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering at the Georgia Institute of Technology. Working under the direction of Dr. Niren Murthy, Scott’s research has focused on the synthesis of novel bio-responsive materials and the formulation of novel oral delivery systems for targeting diseases associated with intestinal inflammation, including colon cancer and inflammatory bowel disease. While at Georgia Tech, Scott has received graduate fellowships from the Georgia Tech Training Program in Cellular and Tissue Engineering and The Center for Drug Design Development & Delivery.
